FOUND SPACE AT ELEMENTS

Traci Lounsbury, Principal of the Denver interior design firm E L E M E N T S, devised a creative solution to a storage dilemma in her working showroom. Hamilton Sorter helped her realize her vision. View a slide show. Hamilton Sorter’s Constructive Ideas, a case study of this project, is available here.

BUILT-IN LEVELING ADJUSTMENT

Base cabinet leveling system is concealed yet accessible through the bottom shelf of each modular component assuring perfect alignment and eliminates the need for wood shims. Wall cabinets hang on an adjustable rail system compensating for imperfect construction and giving the ability to line up precisely to soffits.

LOCK AND KEY

Lock and brass keys are available on every Hamilton Sorter door and drawer. The high-quality locks house removable lock plugs that come standard in a black finish. The housing also makes it easy to change the keys to a different number for security or key alike for convenience.

ANGLED TOPS

Hamilton Sorter offers angled tops on wall and storage cabinets. Ideal for medical environments, angled tops are easier to clean and less likely to gather dust than flat tops. Fascia’s are also available (see photo at far left) to eliminate dust collection on top of overheads.

QUICK BLOG: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT WITH CHRIS WOLFE

New product development is taken very seriously here at Hamilton Sorter. We take pride in our role as vanguard in the industry. Some of our most successful innovations have been the result of conversations with our dealers and end-users.

One of my first projects was developing our soft-close drawer option. It was created in response to the needs of our many clients who work in environments where noise is a concern. The soft-close feature was often offered in residential kitchen cabinets but typically were not offered in commercial applications. Now that it’s available it has become one of our most popular options.

More recently, I have been working on base panels that address several issues for primary reception areas and nurses stations. These decorative front panels hide raceways that allow our customers to thread electric and network cables between the front base panel and an interior base panel. Hidden from view, the raceways eliminate tangled wiring from the feet and work surfaces of medical personnel.  More>.
